Babcia is the Polish word for Grandma. Hannah Olejarska, our founder and head baker was born in Poland and is the proud grandmother of two boys. She wants everyone who eats her bread to experience the comfort of a homemade treat from their Babcia.

All of our bread is lovingly made by hand in a cozy little home kitchen in Glen Ellyn. We use only the finest ingredients, often choosing organic. High quality ingredients and that special homemade touch are what make our bread so good.
